The '5K' Celebration
On the 26th day of 'Superdrive' when we were on our way to Mumbai from Surat, our Silver Nano completed 5000 kilometers on road as well as we being a part of it. Then we were some 200+ kilometers away from Mumbai.
We immediately thought to celebrate it as we all were bit down as the trip was on it's last day. Photo-shoot, muzik, dance and sweets (read toffees) were few ingredients of this small but meaningful celebration...
The BEST part was, all our drivers who completed the whole TRIP very successfully were happy like anything...

DAY-XXVI: Surat-Mumbai
The LAST day on road, some 250+ kilometers to go and we all the 'Superdrive Saffron Route Team' was touchy at heart and could see the TRIP coming to an end. Being on ROAD for the last day, full-to enjoyment was in everyone's mind but heart was filled with sadness.
The humid weather of Surat was bit uncomfortable but we were expecting RAINS on our way to Mumbai.
One of the important thing was that we found LUSH GREEN all around just before entering Maharashtra and the same continued until we reached Mumbai. The shades of green was just uncountable and it seemed like a GREEN BLANKET everywhere.
As soon as we touched Mumbai border, we were welcomed by RAIN and you can say it was proper monsoon rain unlike we faced there at Hisar.
Some photographs of the DAY...
Truckers on NH-8 slowed us down...
GREEN, GREEN & GREEN...

DAY-XXV: Chittorgarh-Surat
It was the highway day, our voyage covered maximum kilometers in a single day. 700+ kilometers was the total distance traveled. And undoubtedly Nanos performed very well. The voyage also measured the stretch of 'National Expressway 1' i.e 'Ahmedabad-Vadodra Expressway'.
It was NH-76 from Chittorgarh to Udaipur and then we hit NH-8. NH-8 runs from Delhi to Mumbai being a part of 'Golden Quadrilateral'.
Long way to GO...
Here we ENTER Gujrat State...
'PHAPDA' in the making...

DAY-XXIV: Kota-Chittorgarh
After the Landmark event in KOTA we had to do the Flag-off ceremony as we needed to reach before 27th afternoon for the flag-in ceremony in Mumbai and the stretch was some 1200+ kilometers.
The last leg...
After Flag-off we hit the NH-76 again and our target was to reach Udaipur but we faced sandstorm and rain which forced us to make our stay at the historical city of Chittorgarh.
