The 'SAFFRON ROUTE - A drive through India' team has reached National Capital 'New Delhi' today evening starting from 'Chandigarh'. We hope to get the same overwhelming response that we are getting everywhere.
Our Pit-Stop is at 'A1 Motors', Barakhamba Road. You can pay a visit to meet our team there as well as to experience 'Tata Nano'.
Event details:
Activity Place:
There is a whole day event organized by Tata Motors from 10.00 AM to 10.00 PM in the evening at 'Ambiance Mall', Gurgaon. Come, be a part of it and enjoy with a unique experience.
Landmark Activity:
These are the popular places in your city where we will come with these 3 Nanos traveling all across the country only to showcase you.
Delhi's landmark places are Qutub Minar, Jain Temple and Safdarjung's Tomb. The most popular place, India Gate was skipped as there was no permission for security reasons but we will try to be there for some time. We will be there in the first half of the day for some time only. Hope these places represent your city well. See you tomorrow..... Cheers
I personally have lost count how many times I visited this National territory and the reason being the only planned city in India out of any existing habitation, and some beautiful pieces of Architecture and also many official work. It used to be a dream city for each student of Architecture so I was no different.
But things were quite different this time. I was there in the city being a part of 'Nano Superdrive'. So rather than seeing place again and again, I was seeing people and their response towards 'Tata Nano'.
Paint the city 'BLUE'...
Hide & Seek
Footprints of 'Spring'
'Sukhna Lake', the sensation of Chandigarh was our first stop for the landmark activity. Our dear Sun God was not kind enough and we were literally struggling to beat the heat. The harsh light of sun always works as a DEVIL and I was so disappointed not to get good captures. As well as worried that our Nanos will not get that much attention by the public. But proving us wrong, the response and interaction with public was unbelievable again. Just have a pictorial look at it.
When we reached...
Dream...
Few minutes later...
Happy to be seated...
Then we proceeded to Rock Garden.
And the final stop was at 'Rose Garden'.
We had to wait LONG there for media, so some time-pass with camera and people around.
It reminded me DUCATI.
'Kake' from Shobiz...
The 'Chole-Kulcha' wallah there served us delicious Chole.
