After the Landmark event in KOTA we had to do the Flag-off ceremony as we needed to reach before 27th afternoon for the flag-in ceremony in Mumbai and the stretch was some 1200+ kilometers.
The last leg...
After Flag-off we hit the NH-76 again and our target was to reach Udaipur but we faced sandstorm and rain which forced us to make our stay at the historical city of Chittorgarh.

DAY-XXIII: Gwalior-Kota
After Gwalior we started for Kota, the educational capital of India. The route was Gwalior-Shivpuri-Kota. It was a double lane road from Kota to Shivpuri but no less scenic and NH-&^ runs from Shivpuri to Udaipur. As I covered NH-76 from head to toe, I was amazed with the terrain, with surrounding and the way all the Nanos performed in the curves. It was a superb experience.
We started with the BLESSINGS...
The Flag-off event...
Lovely stretch between Kota and Shivpuri...
After Shivpuri, NH-76...
Guardian's Eye...
Highway BLUES...
These type of views are common on NH-76...

BITHOOR
Bithoor (known as Bramhabrata in Puranas), only 22 km away from Kanpur has a great mythological background. This is the place where, according to Hindu mythology, Brahma, the god of creation, commenced creation of the world.
And this is also the place where Rani Laxmi Bai and Nana Saheb Peshwa spend their chilhood.
Our Superdrive Nano visited the place when we were in Kanpur.

DAY-XXI: Kanpur-Gwalior
The NORMAL flag-off RITUAL and we were on road by 10.30 AM. The was expected to be exciting as we were traveling to Gwalior, better known as 'SCHINDIA CAPITAL'. And another interesting part was we were suppose to see a glimpse of CHAMBAL. Chambal, does not need ant introduction but now it is a completely different story but still the name carries the THREAT to some extent.
My Team-mates are now a days quite aware of what kind of photography I do, what kind of surrounding I prefer, what should be the composition of the three Nanos etc n etc. So they knew I must have something in my mind specially for Chambal. I can't call myself a DAREDEVIL but I rarely care any such things, it's just like another path.
Anyways, I was getting bored of Highways. And we needed to continue on 4 lane NH-2 for some 130+ kilometers till Etawah and then on double lane NH-92 which connects to Gwalior. I was much excited for that double lane stretch, though it was difficult from a drivers point of view but it has it's own charm which never can be compared to 4lane or 8lane Highways.
This time we were accompanied by Tata's online winner Mr. Tripathi, who came all the way from Gorakhpur for the test drive. As well as Mr. Vikat and Mr Sailesh. from Tata Motors.
Flag-off...
